How Do ROAR™ RO Membranes Work?

Osmotically Assisted Reverse Osmosis (OARO) is a membrane-based process that combines hydraulic pressure with an osmotic gradient to sustain water flux at high salinities. By offsetting feed-side osmotic pressure with a controlled draw stream, OARO enables recovery where conventional Reverse Osmosis (RO) becomes limited.

This allows for deeper brine concentration, improving overall system efficiency and making OARO a critical component in advanced, high-recovery treatment trains.
